Guild Charter

Storm Revel is a family oriented Guild on the EQ2 Antonia Bayle Server. If you are looking at our guild as a future home you must understand that our love for our family and each other is much more powerful then any want for leveling, experience or loot. Our desire is to have a home for those who share our goals and ideals. All Revelers will try to make Norrath a better place for all to enjoy. To accomplish this all Revelers must conduct themselves with the utmost honor, honesty and compassion.

From day one as a Reveler there are certain expections that must be upheld for continued membership:

The time that we spend playing, hunting and interacting with each other is what bonds us closer together as friends and as a guild. Personal gain (loot, experience, etc.) is always secondary to enjoying each other.s company and having fun. Members are expected to show respect to others at all times. This includes guild mates, people we hunt with, and all others that we come in contact with no matter how the other person acts. We do not condone rudeness or cruelty to anyone, under any circumstances. We also do not accept offensive language or behavior by guild members in or out of guild chat.

We are a family, and like all families we will have our differences and squabbles but all problems shall be worked out among the affected parties. If the parties in question cannot come to a solution on their own they WILL enlist the assistance of a guild officer(s) and/or the guild leader to come to a reasonable conclusion. If it comes to the point where someone was truly wronged and it was not a simple misunderstanding, then a solution will be decided upon by the officers, which could include (depending on the severity of the problem) a warning, probation, or even removal from the guild.

It is expected of all guild members to offer assistance to others in time of genuine need. This includes anyone in danger of imminent death or anyone who is having trouble with the mechanics of the game. Note the huge difference between need and want. No one is required to SoW or buff or heal anyone who is not in imminent danger, nor is anyone in the guild required to aid someone in a quest that can be accomplished solo or with a normal group (although all of these things are encouraged when possible).
