About Storm Revel

Storm Revel is a small and growing guild for EverQuest II on the Antonia Bayle server. We intend to focus on forming a friendly group of people who know one another and like to play together, learn and teach, and otherwise have fun.

We are not intending to grow without bound, but rather stop growing through the normal means (actively recruiting) when the guild becomes self-sustaining. We encourage, but do not require, guild friends to contribute in whatever form they wish: items, assistance, and knowledge.

We are open in that we accept good people from all sources. This does not mean your characters must be good aligned, just that the human behind it is a good person. We invite the person, not the character, and promote on the same basis. We accept alts for characters in other guilds. We accept alliances with other active guilds in order to form raids, special events, and the like. The only requirement is that any alt be played, -- that is, we are not a place to park otherwise idle alts.

Ranks

Myst is the name of our recruit-level rank. As a Myst you are expected to behave normally, interact with others in a positive manner, and decide if the guild is right for you. After two weeks new members can apply for promotion. This is currently done with a short interview with an officer or leader, and a discussion by officers and leaders. The promotion will be to the rank of Junior Member..

Junior Members are expected to be little different than recruits. We don't expect a personality change after promotion, but to continue being the same good person you already are. As a Junior Member, you may also invite other good people to the guild. Access to withdrawl more items from the guild banks is granted for this rank, and it is expected you use this access to make yourself a better player whenever appropriate. Yes, this means you should take items out you can use, not just put a lot of items in the bank. After a while (one to two months minimum) Junior Members may apply to become Members. This is also done by request, and through an interview.

Members are expected to be active, contributing members. The type of contribution varies, but contributing status to the guild through writs and heritage quests is a major expectation. Promotion above this rank is currently not well defined. We're still growing, and will work out details as needed.
